How to start your own VPN service: what you need

Running your own VPN service means putting together a few building blocks. This website is an example of all of them working together.
1. VPN servers
Rented servers (VPS) in the countries you want to offer, with the VPN protocols installed and kept up to date: for example WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, V2Ray/Xray and SSH.
2. Account management
Something has to create accounts on the servers, show the settings to customers and remove accounts when they expire, without you doing it by hand.
3. A website and admin panel
Customers need a place to sign up and create accounts; you need a panel to manage servers, users and settings.
4. Billing
A way to charge for plans, such as PayPal, and rules for what each plan includes.
5. Guides and support
Clear setup guides for each device, and a way for customers to reach you.
