Who we are
FreeVPNNet (freevpnnet.com and the FreeVPNNet apps) is run by Free VPN Net. For any privacy question or request, email support@freevpnnet.com.
What we collect
- Your FreeVPNNet account: name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we also store your Google account ID.
- VPN configurations: protocol, server, creation and expiry time, the configuration's username, and the keys or password needed for it to work.
- Limits and abuse prevention: IP addresses are stored only as salted hashes. A device cookie records the browser or app name and when it was last used.
- The FreeVPNNet app: a device identifier and your connection sessions (location, start and end time).
- Points and payments: your points history and Premium plan. PayPal handles card and PayPal details; we never receive them. For crypto or other manual payments we store the transaction ID you send us.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form, support tickets and the support button. Support-button messages are also forwarded to our team on Telegram.
- Website statistics: Google Analytics measures visits to the website using cookies.
On the VPN servers
We do not record the content of your traffic. WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, SSH and SSTP connections are not logged by website address. V2Ray (Xray) servers currently keep a technical access log that can include the addresses a connection reaches. We use it only for troubleshooting and abuse handling and plan to switch it off.
Who processes data for us
Hostinger (website and database hosting), Hetzner and Contabo (VPN servers), Cloudflare (server DNS), Google (sign-in and Analytics), Resend (email), PayPal (payments) and Telegram (support notifications). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
- VPN configurations are removed from the server when they expire. Their stored keys and passwords are deleted 7 days after that.
- Abuse logs, system logs and server statistics are deleted after 30 days.
- Your account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
Your choices
Email support@freevpnnet.com from your account's email address to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. We answer within 30 days. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top.
