How to set up SSTP on Windows
SSTP runs the VPN inside a TLS connection over TCP. Windows has a client built in; Android and Linux need a small app. You need the server address with its port, your username and your password.

Steps

Open Settings → Network & internet → VPN → Add VPN.

VPN provider: Windows (built-in). Connection name: any name.

Server name or address: your Server address, including the colon and the port number at the end.

VPN type: Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP). Type of sign-in info: User name and password.

Enter your username and password, then click Save.

Click the new VPN and choose Connect.
Check that it works
The VPN status shows "Connected". Search the web for "what is my IP"; the location should match your server country.
Disconnect
Open Settings → Network & internet → VPN and click Disconnect.
Tips
Windows checks the server certificate, so always use the server name from your configuration page, never an IP address.
Troubleshooting
It cannot reach the server
Check that the port is included. On Windows and Linux type the address as host:port, for example the Server address exactly as shown on your configuration page. In Open SSTP Client the port goes in the Setting tab.
Wrong user name or password
Re-type the username and password exactly as shown (they are case-sensitive). The configuration may also have expired; check the countdown on your configuration page.
Certificate error
Use the server name from your configuration page, not an IP address. The certificate is issued for that name.
It connects but is slow
SSTP runs over TCP, which is slower than WireGuard on most networks. If speed matters, create a WireGuard configuration instead.
